Rebrand Notice

We have an exciting update to share: effective September 25, 2026, Choice IT Global has officially rebranded as DataLight Optics.

“Since 2018, DataLight Optics has been committed to providing our customers with the highest quality products and services to deploy effective fiber optic and network connectivity solutions” – said Sean Westbrook, Founder & CEO of DataLight Optics. “We have seen tremendous year-over-year growth since our inception, which has led to many new product line expansions, inspired by our valued customers. This has led to our transformation from a focus on optical transceivers and secondary market equipment to adding a full line of optical networking solutions. This rebrand is a reflection of who we are and where we’re headed, with the continued goal of always putting the customer first and being a leader in the fiber optic and network connectivity products space.”

DataLight Optics will be onsite at SCTE TechExpo 26 held September 29 – October 1 in Washington DC, to showcase their full range of fiber optic and network connectivity solutions, including their newly Launched DataLight Optics Coder that allows end-clients to recode any DataLight Optics compatible optics with a click of a button.  They will also be promoting their new line of Open Optical Solutions, including Open Line Systems (OLS), Muxponders and Transponders, and Reconfigurable Add-Drop Multiplexers (ROADMs) that provide disaggregated, vendor-neutral architectures for modern metro, regional, and long-haul networks without vendor lock in.  Visit Booth #C559 to meet with the team onsite.

The primary change is our name and brand identity. As of September 25, 2026, Choice IT Global operates under the name DataLight Optics across all channels. Here’s a summary of what that means practically:

Our name — Choice IT Global is now DataLight Optics in all communications, contracts, and materials going forward.

Our website — Our new home is datalightoptics.com. All previous web addresses will redirect here automatically.

Our email addresses — Team email addresses now use the @datalightoptics.com domain. You can always reach us at info@datalightoptics.com.

Our brand identity — You’ll notice a refreshed logo and updated visual identity across our website, documentation, and marketing materials, designed to reflect our expertise and commitment to being the leader in the fiber optic and network connectivity products space.”.

Our Partner Program — As a commitment to our continued growth and to better serve our clients, the company officially launched its Partner Program.

Any new quotes, purchase orders, or invoices issued after September 25, 2026, will reflect the DataLight Optics name. If you have questions about how the rebrand affects existing documentation, don’t hesitate to reach out, we’re happy to help.

We still carry access to over $100 million in secondary market equipment inventory, including current and legacy/EOL products from all major OEMs.

Our pricing philosophy — We remain committed to delivering top-tier equipment at prices that benefit you, not the OEMs. Our pre-owned and refurbished inventory continues to offer savings of 55–95% off MSRP.

Our services — Buyback/ITAD programs, third-party maintenance through DataLight Care, pre-configuration services, board-level repairs, and same-day and weekend shipping options are all continuing without interruption.

Our serviceable lifetime warranty — Every end-user purchase is still backed by our industry-leading serviceable lifetime replacement warranty. If it fails, we repair or replace it.

DataLight Optics is the operating name of the company formerly known as Choice IT Global. This rebrand represents a name and identity change only. The legal entity and its obligations remain continuous.

All existing agreements, contracts, purchase orders, and service arrangements entered into under the Choice IT Global name remain fully valid, binding, and enforceable without modification. No action is required from existing customers or partners.

All serviceable lifetime warranties issued under Choice IT Global are fully honored by DataLight Optics under the same terms and conditions. Warranty coverage is not affected by this rebrand in any way.

References to “Choice IT Global” in existing documentation should be understood to refer to DataLight Optics for all purposes going forward. New documentation will reflect the DataLight Optics name.
